Shipping Costs and Methods for International Orders
We do ship to most countries around the world. We are continually expanding our list, and if yours is not yet available on the checkout pages, please either make a note of your country in the 'comments' section, and we will email you immediately with shipping availability, or contact us prior to placing your order.
Shipping charges for international orders will be assessed at the actual shipping charge incurred. These will not be shown in the checkout process; the total cost will be sent via email
upon order processing. International Standard service is sent via the less expensive of either US Postal First Class or USPS Global Priority - Priority costs average $20 for the first pound, and $25 for two; small orders can be significantly less (5 and 12ml bottles can be safely shipped in a Priority Mail Flat Rate Envelope for $12). First Class is significantly less, but delivery times vary widely. An accurate cost estimate can be made
at the US Postal Service Website: www.usps.com. A $1 processing fee is added to international shipments, as the processing takes extra paperwork at our facility.
If you are making your payment via PayPal, you MUST add this $20 shipping authorization to your order. This is simply an authorization; you will only be charged the actual amount of shipping. We do calculate the shipping charge for every global destination until the order is packed, and Paypal does not allow an extra charge for shipping to be added after your order has been placed. This allows us to debit your Paypal account without having to send a request for payment. Again, this is only an authorization - this will expedite your order; you will be charged only the actual cost of shipping plus the $1 for the processing of international orders.
These shipping services do not utilize shipment tracking. If you would like shipment tracking, please request it in the 'comments' box. We very rarely have any lost orders (in fact, only one in many years of business) and we've chosen to offer standard mail services as their cost is significantly lower. If you do not request order tracking, it is your responsibility for any non-receipt. We do keep records of addresses and ship dates if you require verification. Requesting use of FedEx, rather than USPS in the coments section of the checkout page is encouraged if you are concerned about the safety of your order. We will not re-ship international orders once they have left our store. Please be aware that the cost of shipping via FedEx will be higher.
Payment Processing
International orders are handled just as any other order, except in the case of using PayPal as your payment method. If you elect to use paypal, your shipping cost will be requested separately, as the shipping cost to your country will not be calculated until your order is packed. You will receive a request for payment at the email address entered, and payment must be received before your order will be shipped. There is usually very little delay for this process, though we do recommend using a credit card for the fastest service.
Returns
Ananda Apothecary offers a 'no hassle' returns policy. If for any reason, you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return it for a full and immediate refund. Simply contact us via email or phone for instructions, or return your purchase to us with whatever service you like with a note including your return request. Return requests for international orders MUST be made within 21 days of order processing. Requests made after this time cannot be honored. We are unable to provide credit for opened bottles or kits of flower essences at this time.
